Our Hens are the real hero’s. They deserve prime real-estate along the coast. However, their homes vary and it’s important we crack open the differences.

Our free-range hens enjoy the fresh ocean air during the day and at night they are safe inside large lying sheds. Our sheds protect our hens from the unpredictability of the coastal climate as well as our native wildlife, they are also a secure and relaxed home for our hens to lay in peace.
Ultimate free range
1,500 HENS PER HECTARE
During the day they’re outside free to roam, play and enjoy the ocean breeze.
During the night they’re relaxed and secure inside, laying some cracking good eggs.
During the day our ultimate free range hens are free to wonder, scratch the grass, and say hello to their mates; at night they are inside and protected from the elements. Their time spent outside is time to take in the pristine coastal air and absorb everything the surf coast has to offer. Our sheds at night are safe haven allowing our hens to relax and lay some cracking good eggs.

FROM FARM TO FRIDGE
Our caged hens are inside a clean and automated shed allowing them to lay without the risk of infection and disease. We visit our hens everyday checking on their welfare and telling about the cracking work they are doing.

FREE TO PERCH AND PLAY
Settled inside a large, climate controlled and cage free sheds our hens are free to socialise within the shed, protected from the threats outside. Inside the shed are hens can roam freely and perch alongside their friends.
